In a world with so much music all around there will be debates over which artists are the best. However there is one artist with such a diverse discography that anyone can enjoy at least one song released by him. Tyler, The Creator has been making music for years, even before his first album dropped in 2009. I believe anyone who gives his music a chance will find at least one song or album that calls for him.
Every single album is different from the next. From his first album to the latest, they all have one thing in common, they have a different concept and region of Tyler, The Creator explored.
His last release was CHROMAKOPIA released on October 28, 2024. This was one of his largest releases garnering millions of fans worldwide. The two most popular songs are “Sticky” featuring Lil Wayne, GloRilla, and Sexyy Red and “Like him‘ featuring Lola Young. CHROMAKOPIA dives into themes of being true to oneself and not hiding. Tyler’s past albums include ‘alter egos’ but so far in CHROMAKOPIA there have only been mentions of real experiences in his life. Personally, his best songs on CHROMAKOPIA are “Judge Judy”, “St. Chroma”, and “I Killed You” respectively as they all dive into deep themes or have melodies that captures the audience.
Tyler’s latest creation was teased weeks before the album’s release. On July 21st, 2025 his newest album Don’t Tap The Glass took fans by surprise and caused uproar. Fans were shocked by the sudden release and the vibe of the music. The songs were upbeat and catchy. Tyler later explained it was a dance album and at the very first lyrics in “Big Poe” or the first song of the album explain very strict rules. “Welcome. Number one, body movement. No sitting still. Number two, only speak in glory. Leave your baggage at home. Number three, don’t tap the glass.” The sudden distorted voice sets the tone for the album and the funky atmosphere spreads to the rest of the songs. Now, the best song is “Mommanem” followed by “I’ll Take Care of You” and finally “Don’t You Worry Baby”.
It wouldn’t be a rant about Tyler, the Creator without ranking the rest of his albums. Skipping the first two albums due to vulgar words and starting at Wolf. First “Rusty” then “Pigs” and “Trashwang”. Transitioning into Cherry Bomb with “OKAGA, CA” and “DEATHCAMP” and ending with “2SEATER”. The next album is Flower Boy beginning with “See You Again” next up “911/Mr. Lonely” and “Garden Shed”. Next one of the most exciting albums, IGOR with “NEW MAGIC WAND” and “GONE GONE/THANK YOU” and “ARE WE STILL FRIENDS? ”. Finally the latest release before CHROMAKOPIA, CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale. “SWEET/ I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE” then “DOGTOOTH” and finally ‘BOYFRIEND, GIRLFRIEND’.
Next a ranking of the albums, unfortunately one had to be censored but it still needed to be included. Starting strong with IGOR then WOLF and third for CHROMAKOPIA. The next are as follows: Cherry Bomb, CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale, DON’T TAP THE GLASS, Flower Boy, {REDACTED}, and Goblin.
Finally all opinions are valid and it would be greatly appreciated and encouraged to share love for Tyler, The Creator. He deserves all the popularity his song get and hopefully it can be spread to the world.
