Jesse Longa is a senior this year, and is getting ready to finish up this season as a shooting guard for the Buffaloes boys basketball team.
“It’s my favorite sport and I have been playing since second grade,” Jesse Longa said.
Throughout his four years playing for the Buffaloes, Longa has become close with many of the senior players.
“I wouldn’t say I have any particular favorites, but I have been playing with the seniors for all four years, Adriel, Jalen, Daniel. So I’d say that I would be the closest with those three,” Longa said.
One of the ways Longa prepares for games is by listening to music.
“I love listening to music. I have a personal playlist that I love listening to, and that usually gets me locked in before games,” Longa said.
Longa has received two varsity letters throughout his career. After this season, Longa is going to work to pay for his college tuition. He also accomplished his goal for this season, by making it fun. Longa has seen a lot of growth within the team this year.
“Keep going on the path that the coaches and the older players put you guys on,” Longa said.
